What you should know about Red Vein Kratom

The family of Mitragyna Speciosa can be divided into three different strains, namely Red-vein, Green-vein and White-vein. Those different strains vary in their chemical composition and thus will have different physical and mental effects.[1] Due to its potent alkaloids (= organic compounds in plants that have physiological effects on humans), this strain is the most popular of all three.

The fine red kratom powder emerges from the leaves with red colored stem and veins. However about 75% – 85% of the green and white named strains are made of red veined leaves.

Thanks to over 25 potent alkaloids in the kratom leaf, pleasant calming, relaxing and relieving effects are experienced.[2]

Beyond that, it is told to relieve pain due to muscle relaxation and to give a feeling of well-being and optimism. The higher levels in the Red-vein of the strong working alkaloid 7-hydroxymitragynine may cause impressive effects of anxiety and stress relief[3].

Keep in mind that the dosage is likewise determining the beneficial impact on mind and body as well as the choice of strain. The alkaloid content of the leaves differs in quantity depending on the geographical location and harvest time. As a result there exist different geographical variants within the same species.[4] The Red Borneo will give you more sedative effects whereas the Red Sumatra offers an elated mood.

In all, the Red Vein has both relaxing and uplifting properties. You will be amazed by its strong stimulating but very well-rounded effects.
